One of our personal Favorites -The Phoenix Zoo is one of the largest privately owned, non-profit zoos in the U.S. It’s home to over 3,000 animals, including endangered species, and offers interactive experiences like giraffe feeding, camel rides, and a petting zoo.

Desert Botanical Garden

This stunning garden is located in Papago Park, about 10 minutes from out venue, and features over 50,000 plants, with a focus on desert flora. It offers beautiful walking trails, art exhibits, and seasonal events. A great spot for nature lovers and photography enthusiasts.

Camelback Mountain

For outdoor adventure, hiking Camelback Mountain is a must. The mountain has two main trails: Echo Canyon and Cholla Trail. It’s a moderate-to-strenuous hike with incredible views of the Phoenix Valley once you reach the summit. Perfect for fitness buffs but be ready for a challenge.

Hole in the Rock

Located in Papago Park, Hole in the Rock is a short "hike" (rocky walk) that takes you to a natural sandstone formation with a hole right through it. The hike is relatively easy, and the view from the top gives you a great panorama of the park and Phoenix. It’s a unique spot that’s great for a quick nature escape, photography, or just a fun little adventure.
